Some pyrazolone dyes,their metal complexes and their application on natural and synthetic fibres

Some of the dyes based on heterocyclic ring system posses high tinctorial power and excellent fastness properties towards certain agencies.The dyes based on pyrazolone ring system have been reported to be useful for natural and synthetic fibres.Many metal complexes of 4-arylazo pyrazolone dyas have been reported.The dyeing performance of ary-lazo pyrazolone dyes and their metal complexes on various fabrics have been studied.In view of this encouraging report on industrial applications of some of the dyes based on azo aromatic system,it was thought worthwhile to synthesize azo dyes based on pyrazolone system,their complexes with various metal ions and to assess their dyeing and fastness performance.The azo dyes of the following structure were prepared.
