As an extension of a roundtable discussion conducted in August 2017 in Tampa, Florida, this supplement to the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO) centers on the role of the advanced practitioner in maintaining adherence in patients on oral oncolytics. The topic was discussed from the unique perspectives and shared goals of key members of the health-care team: a clinical pharmacy specialist, the CEO of an organization that trains and provides specialized oncology nurses, a PA, and an oncology certified nurse practitioner.
