The Need for a Broader View of Policy in Health Care

While I may seem to be critical of Jecker's (2008) article, most of this commentary is quite friendly excepting that 1) she needs to sharpen her focus on a couple of issues as I explain below, and that 2) she exaggerates the paucity of attention paid to her topics. That said, I believe that on Jecker's view there is a need for a broader view of policy in health care.
