摘要

A green house experiment was conducted at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University,Coimbatore on two texturally different soils to study the effect of green manuring(Sesbania aculeata 10 t ha~(-1))and two sources of zinc(ZnSO_4 and Zn-EDTA 5 kg ha-1)and sulphur(gypsum 50 kg ha~(-1))on K uptake of rice and its availability in soil at three physiological stages.Application of recommended NPK(100 :50 :50 kg ha~(-1)),Zn and S coupled with green manuring surpassed all other treatments by registering higher K uptake at all the stages.The uptake and available K content increased significantly with the application of green manure along with improvement in soil fertility.
