摘要

Ginger (Zingaer officinale Rose) is one of the most valuable and important spices and India is the largest producer, consumer and exporter of this crop. Ginger is widely used in food, beverage, confectionery and medicine. Though response of micronutrients for better growth and yield of several important crops has been reported from almost all parts of the country, only limited research work has been done on microelement nutrition of ginger. Hence, an attempt has been made to correlate different chemical and biochemical properties of rhizosphere soil of ginger.
