摘要

I would like to commend the authors on an interesting review of the ideas, articles, and players that contributed to five decades of publication of the Journal of Quality Technology (JQT). I also want to thank the current editorin- chief, Professor Fugee Tsung, for his invitation to write a discussion of this work.
