TESTING OF SOME RACES FROM GENE-BANK OF SILKWORM (BOMBYX MORI L.) POPULATIONS, ITRODUCED FROM DIFFERENT ECOLOGIC-GEOGRAPHICAL ZONES. II. RACES WITH CHINESE ORIGIN

摘要

Testing of five races from National gene-bank of silkworm populations, introduced from China incl. four with white cocoons, two (III_3 and Ill_(12-31) from Japanese type) and two (III_4 and III_(26-32) from Chinese type) and one (China) with yellow cocoons was done. Testing was made through the subordinate function (SFi) and evaluation (Ei) indices methods and race ranking was done by total cumulative (TCi) index method. It was determined that used statistical methods for testing of introduced Chinese races by subordinate functional and evaluation indices permit to identify and use the best ones together with perspective Bulgarian races for selection of new synthetic populations and for industrial hybridization.
