摘要

Monoamineoxidase is responsible, for catecholamine detachment. It has been shown that the enzyme activity in blood serum of mammals undergoes significant changes during the estrous cycle course. The goal of this paper was to determine the synthetic analogue PGF a influence on MAO activity and its isoenzymes in cattle blood serum. The experiments were completed on 5 clinically-healthy lowland black-and-white cows. On the 10-11 day of the ovarian cycle the cows were fed with 0.5 mg cloprostenol. The total activity of MAO (MAO-T) as well as the activity of the isoenzymes MAO-A and MAO-B in blood serum was determined with the use of the spectrofluorimetric technique according to Matsumoto et al. Analysis of blood samples taken every 8 hours *afer kloprostenol application, showed that the activity of MAO-B is twice as high as the activity of MAO-A. The most intense decrease in the activity of MAO-T, MAO-A and MAO-B was observed before the estrous period. After that period the enzymes activity began toincrease.
