Installation, testing and glove-box adaptation of high resolution inductively coupled plasma spectrometer and studies on determination of U by ICP-AES

A high resolution ICP sequential spectrometer was set-up inside a specially designed glove box by suitably modifying it. The glove box set-up was tested for its leak-tightness and was provided with water circulation, heat exchanger, gas inlet and electrical power. The plasma chamber, r.f. coil, Plasma stand etc. were detached from the main unit and set-up in the glove-box.
