摘要

Alkali and alkaline earth phosphates such as lithium phosphate, sodium pyrophosphate and calcium phosphate doped with transition metal ions / rare earth ions have been reported to be useful thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) phosphor materials. In particular, calcium phosphate is an essential component of bone and teeth and TSL studies on rare earth doped calcium phosphates have been reported in the recent past, with a view to examining their utility for personnel dosimetry.
