An Efficient Method for the One-pot Synthesis of 4-Phenyl-hydrazinyl Thiazole Derivatives Using Nano-SiO2

摘要

One-pot synthesis of 4-phenyl-hydrazinyl thiazole derivatives was developed by three-component reaction of various ketones, phenacyl chloride, and thiosemicarbazid in the presence of nano-SiO2 in ethanol at reflux conditions. The products formed in excellent yields over short reaction times under an environmentally friendly condition.
