Lukoil gets semisub for W Africa quartet

Lukoil has signed up for a semisub for a minimum of four wells off West Africa starting in the second half of the year. The Russian firm has a four well programme plus options for the Eirik Raude with an estimated value of US $217m and an estimated duration of around 12 months. The Ocean Rig vessel only recently left Liberia after drilling for African Petroleum and is heading to Ireland for a one well contract with ExxonMobil.
