A new fast-track shallow water platform project off Gabon is now being prepared after approval from the government. UK minnow Setanta Energy look over the Roussette production sharing contract in late 2007 with the help of financing from Aker after former operator Total handed it back the previous year. The block contains a field of the same name with proven and probable reserves of 25m bbl and a proven figure of 12m bbl.
