Essel deeper into Africa with Simba stake

Essel Group said it aims to expand in the region further after deepening its interest in onshore African specialist Simba Energy. The US $12 Bn conglomerate marked its first entry into the upstream last year when it took a majority interest in Simba's blocks in Kenya, Guinea and Chad in return for carrying the small Canadian operator.
