Drilling in the shared zone between Senegal and Guinea Bissau is heating up with Oryx Petroleum adding to Woodside's planned deepwater wildcat by saying it will drill two shallow water wells next year. The Canadian company is operator of the AGC Shallow block with a commitment well due before March 2018 but also of the deeper water AGC Central block where it says seismic has identified a carbonate play similar to Cairn's nearby SNE discovery.
