Cobalt International is drilling ahead on a final appraisal well on its pre-salt Cameia find off Angola before sanction later this year as three FPSO contractors work on their front end engineering and design (FEED). The Cameia-3 well is now being drilled by the SS Catarina drillship in Block 21. It will be used as a development well but also to try and find our more information on the discovery whose range of reserves is still put in a wide range from 200m to 500m bbl of oil.
