Chevron to conduct all pre-FEEDs - but not yet

Chevron is planning to conduct all early engineering work, including pre-FEED, with its own internal employees - although the move could be years away because of staff reductions. The US major has suffered more than many from cost overruns and delays around the world in recent years and it is now reciting the mantras of standardisation and increased early engineering in order to counteract this.
