Technip slims for Chevron in Angola

Tech nip is understood to be working alone on a new double platform project for Chevron off Angola after the US major decided to reduce the size of the original Greater Vanza Longui Area (GVLA) development and turn it into just Greater Longui Area (GLA). Originally Technip and EDG were lined up for the front end engineering and design for two wellhead platforms, a processing and compression platform and a quarters and utilities platform for GVLA in Block 0 off Cabinda. Technip was to work on the central platform and EDG to study the wellhead platforms and pipelines and brownfield work.
