The partners in what was once touted as an FPSO project off Ghana for Kosmos Energy will finish the appraisal this year but are heading to a decision to tie-back to the existing Jubilee FPSO with Tullow pushing for early production. The Mahogany/Teak/Akasa (MTA) development on Kosmos Energy's West Cape Three Points block had once been touted as a separate FPSO project. However, there was a disappointing appraisal of the Teak discovery in 2012 and the reserves were not changed following an appraisal well on Akasa completed earlier this year.
