Total appraises for new Angolan hub

Total is to drill a final appraisal well in deepwater Angola later this year that could finalise a new cluster development in Block 32 while separately trying to reduce capex on the existing Kaombo project. The French operator awarded the major contracts for the double FPSO Kaombo development in Block 32 last year but is now trying to commercialise another hub called Central Northeast.
