Length-weight relationship of four goatfish species along Kakinada coast, Andhra Pradesh, India

In the present study, the length weight relationship (LWRs) of four goatfish specieswas established based on thesamples collected from the Kakinada coast from April 2018 to March 2019. The results revealed the existing of a significantpositive correlation between length-weight (p<0.05). The estimated values of slope (b) ranged from 2.6035 to 3.60533, and theintercept (a) value ranged from0.00002638 to 0.0005408, respectively and the correlation coefficient (r 2 ) values ranged from0.838 to 0.980.
