Fastnet gives up on oil and Morocco

Fastnet Oil & Gas is to give up its acreage in Morocco and pull out of the oil and gas sector. The UK firm had an interest in Kosmos Energy's Foum As-saka block where a deepwater well was drilled last year but failed to encounter hydrocarbons. It also held the onshore Ten-drara block but was forced to give it back recently after failing to find a farm-in partner.
