Allied Energy has exceeded, pre-drill expectations in the primary target on its well offshore Nigeria and is now drilling ahead to the secondary target. The company is drilling the Oyo-7 well on the producing field in OML 120 to increase production from the Pliocene but also to explore the potential of deeper Miocene reservoirs under the field that it hopes will open up a series of prospects on its acreage.
