Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. has received a Return on Environment~R (ROE) Partnership Award from BetzDearborn for a wastewater filter cleaning and treatment program that minimizes the impact of discolored, oil-containing water discharged into the Ohio River.The ROE Award is presented worldwide to a select group of industrial, commercial and institutional establishments possessing a strong working relationship with BetzDearborn that results in significant environmental, health and safety benefits, while simultaneously reducing operating costs. the ROE Award was formally presented to James Bradley, Wheeling-Pittsburgh President and CEO, by John Schumann, BetzDearborn Regional Vice President.
