摘要

This study presents a modified continuous genetic algorithm to optimize the performance of the smart antenna system. The chromosomes of this modified algorithm are assessed to double crossovers and blending. Moreover, the first chromosome is excluded from the mutation process in order to increase the algorithm speed. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with that of two well-known adaptive algorithms, namely; the Recursive Least Square (RLS) and Sample Matrix Inversion (SMI). The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system has better output signal resolution and smaller mean square error.
