On a collection of Acrididae (Orthoptera: acridoidea) from Rohilkhand region, Uttar Pradesh, India with three new records from the state

Thirty-one species of family Acrididae have been reported from Rohilkhand Region of Uttar Pradesh, India. Out of which three are new records from Uttar Pradesh state. A total of 677 specimens were studied and identified. Maximum number of species wererecorded from the genus Oxya of subfamily Oxyinae (I.e., eight different species from a single genus). Maximum diversity was shown by subfamily Oedipodinae.
