The timing of Simba's wildcat onshore Kenya planned for later this year is in jeopardy after local community protests disrupted seismic. The company, now majority owned by Essel Group, has been shooting 535km of new 2D seismic in Block 2A in the northeast of the country near the border of Kenya.
