Nigerian OK LNG fight finally over but still battling on Brass

The formal news that Chevron and Shell have pulled out of the Olokola (OK) LNG project in Nigeria came as less of a surprise than the announcement by the government that it still expects Brass LNG to go ahead. In reality the US $12 Bn OK project has been dead in the water for several years. Partner BG pulled out back in 2009 saying it was "switching priorities to projects elsewhere".
