Maersk joins BP for new deep drilling concepts

Maersk Drilling and BP signed an agreement to develop conceptual engineering designs for a new breed of advanced offshore drilling rigs that will unlock the next frontier of deep-water oil and gas. BP estimates that application of this technology across its own global portfolio alone could potentially access an additional 10-20 Bn bbl of resources.
