Allied adds to Nigerian Oyo hopes

Allied Energy has hit oil in the secondary target in a well offshore Nigeria. The company has been drilling the Oyo-7'well on the producing field in OML 120 to increase production from the Pliocene but also to explore the potential of deeper Miocene reservoirs under the field that it hopes will open up a series of prospects on its acreage.
