Indonesia's Energi Mega Persada (EMP) is hoping to close a farm down deal in Mozambique shortly that will enable it to go ahead with a two well exploration programme. The conglomerate took over the Buzi block in the central Sofala province back in 2013. It neighbours Sasol's successful Pande/Temane acreage to the south. The gas from Sasol's acreage is piped down to South Africa.
