Nigerian Aje moves to next phase despite early hiccups

Problems at the newly commissioned Aje field in Nigeria will limit production until the end of the year although the partners confirmed they are now looking at the next phases of the development. Production from the US $200m first phase on the Yinka Fo-lawiyo operated FPSO project in OML 113 was expected towards the end of January. This involved re-entry of an existing well and completion of a new one to tap the 23m bbl of recoverable oil in the Cenomanian reservoir.
