Sonangol is increasing its power offshore Angola by taking extra stakes in two deepwater blocks - one with several fields already producing and the other with a soon-to-be-developed pre-salt discovery. The national oil company is not only demanding greater local content in Angola but also adding to its existing stakes in blocks.
