Nanoemulsion (NE), solid lipid nanoparticle (SLN) and nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC) were produced using hot high-pressure homogenization method (HPH) and characterized by photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The mean particle sizes of all prepared nanocarriers were in the range of 100-150 nm and influenced by the lipid composition. The obtained results of DSC and XRD studies confirmed that the incorporation of liquid lipid into the nanoparticles resulted in the formation of less ordered crystalline lattice. The release rate at the burst release stage could be accelerated by decreasing the liquid lipid ratio. The retention amounts of resveratrol in the skin also depended on the lipid composition.
