Finding preceptors for clinical courses is one of the biggest hindrances to nurse practitioner education (American Association of Colleges of Nursing, 2015). Educators at faith-based universities are given a biblical directive that those with more experience are to teach those with less experience (Titus 2:1-4). We are to be a light, leading the way in developing effective strategies to meet the needs of our students, understanding that this is a unique opportunity to shape not just our healthcare system, but the lives of students, providers, and patients, through a godly influence.
