摘要

Similarity investigation based on general group theoretic method so-called two-parameter group of transformation is made of unsteady boundary layer of a non-Newtonian power-law fluid near a stagnation point with heat generation/absorption, variable fluid properties and variable heat flux. The governing system of partial differential equations is first transformed into ordinary differential equation, and then solved numerically by a fourth-order Runge-Kutta algorithm with a shooting technique. The governing physical parameters effects on the temperature and velocity as well as local Nusselt number and local skin friction coefficient are computed and presented in graphical and tabular forms.
