摘要

Since the electrons transport plays a very important role in the performance of the quantum dot infrared photodetector, what related with the electrons transport is always a hot research topic. In this paper, the electrons transport is simulated by the.Monte Carlo method with the consideration of the drift motion and the scatter, and the corresponding calculated results are given. Furthermore, these calculated results of the electron transport are used to estimate the dark current of the quantum dot infrared photodetector, and the calculated dark current results have a good agreement with the published experimental data.
