摘要

Based on a novel attitude measurement method, this paper mainly guides the tunneling of a TBM to overcome the limitations of existing guidance techniques such as requiring large surveying window and complex structure of total station. This presented system which is consisted of prism,charge-coupled device (CCD) camera, and inclinometer, is automatically surveyed by a motorized total station to measure the attitude of the TBM. In this paper, Monte Carlo simulation was firstly conducted to analyze its accuracy with respect to the three-point method and the two-point onein order to validate the proposed technique. According to the simulation results, the proposed method can reach higher precision and better adaptability. The authors further conduct the experiment from the following aspects: (1) vibration testing on inclinometer; (2) attitude verificationby a turntable; (3) target points computing in a moving object (4) Also, field testing in a water diversion project. Results show that the proposed system can reach a satisfactory level of accuracy in measuring the attitude of the TBM with the error no greater than 0.02°. In addition,its reliability and adaptability have also been demonstrated through a large number of practical applications.
