Research of Algorithms to Edge Detection of Color Image

摘要

The existing image processing algorithms studied on feature extraction of gray image with one-dimensional parameter. However, the extraction of some characteristic points to color image with three-dimensional parameters, such as the extraction of color edge, inflection points, etc.,is an image problem to be urgently solved. In order to carry out a fast and accurate feature extraction to color image, this paper proposes a color edge segment algorithm. The algorithm is compared under different color distribution situations. At the same time, the contrast experiment andeffect analysis of the proposed and existing algorithms are given. Experimental results show that the proposed color segment algorithm is better than the classical equilibrium compensating algorithm under the more obvious or gentle color edge, because it has the better edge detection, strongeranti-noise ability, faster processing speed and other advantages. These researches in this paper provide a solution tool for image segmentation, feature extraction, precise positioning, etc.
