摘要

Malignant Image Description for Calcification (MIDC) algorithm calculates the shape description and cell count for the various calcification types and their abnormality. This work focuses on namely: pleomorphic distribution clustered calcifications, round and regular calcifications.The descriptor focuses form factor, roundness, compactness and aspect ratio. The calculated value of roundness in images is more useful for calculating the calcification quantity with deposit in malignancy. The MIDC algorithm describes the roughness of the calcifications and the associatedcell count in the infected area. This quantitative calculation of malignant images with calcification type using shape descriptor and relationship between cell counts is shown in this work.
