Eni has now received technical bids for the second phase of its Offshore Cape Three Points project off Ghana only weeks after finalising the first. The latest stage will develop the gas reserves which are due to start production in 2018. It involves five wells - two on Sankofa Main, two on Sankofa East and one on Gye Name. There will also be the associated subsea system, gas treatment facilities on the FPSO, a 63km subsea gas pipeline with two lay barges needed, an onshore receiving facility and tie-in with the GNPC sales gas pipeline.
