Unhappy patient after uneventful refractive lens exchange in nanophthalmos

A 55-year-old woman with nanophthalmos presented for refractive surgery because of contact lens intolerance and glare complaints at night when wearing her spectacles. The corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) was 20/25 in the right eye (+8.50 -3,25 x 2.00) and 20/125 in the left eye (+9.75 -3.5 x 10) because of amblyopia.
