New Skid Button Design for Hot Strip Mill Reheating Furnaces

摘要

A new material for reheating furnace skid buttons has been developed to solve problems attributed to conventional cobalt-based alloys. The material has high compressive strength as well as excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, even at high temperatures.
