India's passenger car sales dropped 4.2 per cent last month, triggering fresh industry fears that India's new car market may be about to slip back into its former state of lethargy after just 18 or so months of a half-hearted car sales recovery. February's sales dip follows a 0.7 per cent drop this January, the first falls in 14 months.
