Toyota's Auris hybrid enters UK sales arena

Britain, while challenged very hard by the Netherlands, still ranks as Europe's hybrid car capital, and the reasons for this accolade are not terribly difficult to find. Apart from an excellent marketing campaign fought by Toyota's UK marketing wizards, lifting Toyota's green credentials to hitherto unreached heights, traditionally at least the company's hybrid sales efforts were evidently helped a great deal by London's congestion charge waiver for hybrid cars, a sector heavily dominated by the image boosting hybrids from both Toyota and Lexus.
