Antigenic relationship of camel (Camelus dromedarius) with some ruminant and non-ruminant species.

摘要

In the present study sera from some ruminants (cow, buffalo, sheep, goat), non-ruminants (horse, rabbit) and man were subjected to double immunodiffusion and immunoelectrophoresis against goat anti-camel serum to establish antigenic relationship ofthese species with camel serum proteins. The serum antigenic relationship revealed camel to be closest to man and farthest to sheep and goat.
