Mesabi Metallics (Mesabi) and Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (Cliffs) have not yet reached an agreement on rightsto own and mine iron ore range near Nashwauk, Minnesota. In the mid-September, Mesabi complained toFederal Court, asking it to grant them a permit to mine and develop about 405,000 ha (over 1,000 acres)it shares 50/50 with Cliffs, according to the local sources.
