India.s BMM Ispat to launch new equipment next spring

In April 2015 India.s BMM Ispat plans to commission a 850,000 tpy merchant bar mill within Phase I of capacity expansionproject at the plant in Hospet, Karnataka state. In May 2015 a 900,000 tpy meltshop will be launched. A $1.19 billion (INR67 billion) investment will increase a longs-rolling capacity from 90,000 tpy to 940,000 tpy and steelmaking capacity from100,000 tpy to 1 million tpy.
