Chi na’s Hebei Xinjin Iron & Steel starts slab productio n at new CCM

In early March China’s Hebei Xinjin Iron & Steel successfully held tests at a new slab CCM at its plantin Wu’an, Hebei province, Metal Expert learnt from the statement of the contractor China’s CISDI Engineering(CISDI). The 2.1 million tpy unit is designed to produce slabs withthickness of 220 mm, 230 mm and 240 mm and width of 700?1,200mm aiming to feed its own flats production with semis.
