Germany’s Saarstahl to invest EUR 100 million in new CC M to strengthen its position in automotive industry and mechanical engineering

The Supervisory Board of Germany’s Saarstahl has agreed to invest an amount of 100 million euros ina new continuous casting plant at its Voelklingen site, Metal Expert learnt from the company’s statement.With this investment, Saarstahl is strengthening its position in the business fields of spring steel, coldheading wire rod and free-cutting steels; products which are used, above all, in the automotive industryand in mechanical engineering.
